Woman faces drug charges following traffic stop

by James Ehle - jehle@h-ponline.com

An Andrews woman was arrested when a traffic stop for her suspended license turned into Andrews officers finding narcotics, meth, paraphernalia and other drugs in the vehicle.

Toni Rae Little, 33, was arrested on Oct. 29 on two Level 6 felonies including possession of methamphetamine and possession of a narcotic.

Additional charges for the arrest included class A, B and C misdemeanors for driving while suspended, possession of marijauna and possession of paraphernalia, respectively.

The officer found a glass and plastic smoking device with residue which tested positive for meth, a silver grinder with a green leafy substance that tested positive for marijuana, and a white pill identified as a schedule II narcotic containing Acetaminophen and Oxycodone, according to the police report.

Little could face more than six years in jail for all of her charges. Little’s pretrial conference is scheduled for December 31.
