Thursday’s meet wraps up HU’s regular season with just NAIA Nationals left on the schedule.

Senior Brooks Gerke will be the lone Forester to compete in the 67th annual NAIA Men’s Outdoor Track & Field National Championships on May 24-26 at the Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium in Gulf Shores, Ala.

The Auburn native is seeded 20th in pole vault based on his mark of 15-3 on April 14 at the Huntington Invitational. This will be Gerke’s third trip to nationals as he represented Huntington at indoor nationals in 2015 and 2017 as a heptathlete.

The pole vault competition will take place on May 26 at 1 p.m. CDT.
